Intuit has teamed up with third-party software developers to design applications that assist users in solving previously unmet industry or business-specific tasks.  These applications have undergone extensive testing and approval processes to make certain that they integrate with QuickBooks flawlessly. Testing and review is performed by an independent third party.

 

Sepulvado Consulting utillizes these resources to assist our clients in resolving issues specific to their industry; saving time and money; and reducing errors. For example, we installed a utility software designed to track consignment inventory for a retail client. By utilizing this software in conjunction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and QuickBooks Point of Sale, consignment inventory is segregated from owned inventory and is not included in the Inventory account on the balance sheet. Prior to use of this consignment software, our client had to manually account for consignments and manually make adjusting journal entries to avoid overstating Inventory on the balance sheet.
